What were the main points that we learnt in relationship to what Daniel reveals about the nature of our God?

What most struck you from Sunday’s message?

What have we learnt about how to get the most out of our Bible?

Why do we struggle with a God who brings an event like the Exile on his people?

What does the Bible say about God’s anger in relationship to his Grace? (Psalm 30:5) and how should that effect us?

In the midst of Exile God promises Jeremiah 29:11. What experiences have you had of this working out in your life?

What biblical examples are there of people not behaving well but God is already work out his redemption plan for them?

Consider 2 Timothy 1:9 ,& 1 Corinthians 2:6-8 and explore together the amazing redemption plan of our God?

In what ways does God seek to woo us and warn us to repentance?

What most struck you from Sunday’s message?

What can you imagine was going through the minds of God’s people as a result of defeat and exile, and have you experienced similar situations and emotions? ( You may want to look at Psalm 137 that gives a unique window into the trauma of their souls as a result of the Exile.)

What are the three statements in Ch1 that clearly demonstrate that God is in control.

Nebuchadnezzar tried to change the 4 young men’s identity. What defines us as we really are?

Share examples of how God’s control has clearly been demonstrated in our lives in the past.

How has God demonstrated his ability to time events in your life to perfection?

Too often we are more concerned with what the future holds rather than who holds the future. The question we should be focused on is not how will the future unfold but- How will I live my life in the light of Jesus imminent return? How should this affect our lifestyle today?

How can we grow content like these 4 men who were not where they wanted to be?  

What does Matthew 6:25-34 teach us about God’s control over resources and our attitude to such things?

What comfort can we draw from God’s Sovereignty explained in Romans 8:28?
